Infant Care and Preschool Program

At Early Beginnings we realize that the first three years of life is a time that sets the stage for all the years of future development. We will provide a safe classroom filled with activities for infants to explore. Our teachers will snuggle and love the children, read to them, and encourage their development and growth through classroom activities.

The preschool classrooms will be a carefully planned learning environment that is organized to give the children a choice in activity. Children will be able to rotate through various learning and role play centers throughout the day. Teachers will be trained to guide exploration and mentor the children and will be taught to recognize the teachable moments that provide encouragement and age appropriate challenges.

Each preschool classroom will have daily activities and a project schedule that reflect the children's interest and skills. We will begin and end each day joined together in a circle. Circle time is spent discussing and reflecting on the day's activities, music, and story telling. This is the children's time to express their personal interest and share their experiences with their classmates.

In addition to the planned classroom time we will offer plenty of time for outdoor play. Days that weather does not permit outdoor play children will have the opportunity to play in our indoor space. Infants will also have ample shaded outdoor play time when weather permits.
